"Here's sand in your eye"

Films: The Sandman (2017)

Alias: None

Type: Mystical

Location: Civilized Area/Eldritch location

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: Children sure do come up with some of the craziest things, right? Of course, imaginary friends are always a mixed bag. Though, to call this thing "imaginary" or a "friend" is rather dubious. It was very much real, and anything but friendly.

History: After a traumatic incident involving her parents, a little girl's inherent psychic powers run rampant, and in her sleep, she conjures up a demon made entirely of sand. The being seeks to protect her from all harm, but it takes its job way too seriously. As in, scores of people die whenever they look even remotely harmful to the girl. Now, even the girl just wants the beast to go away.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After all other attempts on the sandman's life fail, it is finally brought down through electrocution, burning it into glass so that it may never rise again. Of course, there's also that thing about a little baby sandman, but we're just hoping that was a hallucination.

Powers/Abilities: Can dissipate into sand to get around, as well as tank most damage.

Weakness: Electricity.

Scariness Factor: 4-Unlike a lot of Syfy monsters, this one is entirely practical for the most part, and looks quite menacing as a result. It's basically an undead skeleton with a sand motif that can go around virtually indestructible. The moment you see it, you'd better hope you know the means of glassing sand, otherwise, you're gonna be just dust in the wind.

Trivia: -One of this film's executive producers was the great late Stan Lee. Yes, THE Stan Lee.

-The Sandman was yet another role of the infamously versatile actor Mick Morgana Ignis. It wasn't their first role as a monster, and it won't be their last.

How can I?! There's sand in our eyes!

"Come here often?"
"Aren't I supposed to be wearing scrubs to sneak in?"
